About

Dr Kafer obtained her medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 1989 and completed hospital training at Westmead and Gosford Hospitals. She completed her General Practice training on the Central Coast and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1995. She also has a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Diploma of Palliative Medicine and End of Life Care.

She has lived and worked on the Central Coast for over 25 years as a GP in Ettalong, Umina, Erina and long term in Kincumber prior to starting at Next Practice Erina. Dr Kafer is a caring and compassionate practitioner with special interests in Women’s health and shared Antenatal care, Menopause Medicine and Chronic Disease management.
